May 2026: This year’s prestigious Awin Power 100 list has been announced, recognising Purpl, the UK’s pioneering disability savings platform, as one of the world’s most innovative affiliate partners.

Celebrated for its work disrupting the market and acting as a true disability changemaker, Purpl secured its spot alongside global media powerhouses, FinTech pioneers, and AI innovators. Purpl was one of just 100 companies selected from Awin’s vast network of over one million active partners across 35 countries, marking a massive milestone for disability representation in the global tech space.

The Awin Power 100 reflects how affiliate partnerships are evolving beyond traditional models. Awin CEO Adam Ross comments: “The Awin Power 100 reflects how quickly the affiliate channel is evolving. Today, advertisers can work with a far broader mix of partners than many people realise, from AI shopping tools and creators to technology partners, publishers, loyalty partners and even other brands. It’s admirable to see Purpl listed among such major brands.”

“That shift means affiliate programs can now support far more than just sales at the point of conversion. They’re helping brands drive discovery, influence purchase decisions and reach new audiences in ways that simply weren’t possible a few years ago.”

For Purpl’s Founder, Georgina Colman and Co-founder, Seth Richardson, this global tech recognition for their company was born from a deeply personal, hidden struggle. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her twenties, and later with ADHD, Georgina lived for years with the quiet, crushing anxiety of funding her own chronic illness. In the UK, disabled households face a staggering “disability penalty,” costing an average of £1,095 extra per month just to survive and maintain a baseline quality of life.

The turning point for Georgina came during a simple shopping trip. While watching her son easily claim a student discount at the checkout, it hit her: society readily offers financial breaks for lifestyle choices like going to university, yet completely abandons those carrying the non-negotiable, crippling costs of a disability.

Refusing to accept a broken system, Goergina built the solution herself. She launched Purpl to bridge the gap between major brands and the £274 billion spending power of the disabled community. Today, the platform has grown into a verified community of over 80,000 members who have collectively saved over £2 million, proving that inclusive business is not a charity initiative; it is essential.

Georgina uses her platform to raise awareness of the issues facing disabled consumers and fights to level the financial playing field.

Speaking about Purpl’s award, Georgina said: “My dream has always been to help anyone who finds themselves facing the same terrifying financial hurdles I did upon my diagnosis. The disabled community is filled with incredible resilience and undeniable brilliance, yet we are constantly forced to pay a premium just to exist. Today’s news makes me incredibly proud of our team and community because it shows that global brands are finally waking up to our value. This recognition isn’t just a win for Purpl as a business; it is proof that we can change the system, demand better from the brands we shop with, and build a fairer future.”
