Our family business journey started when our son Nejc suffered a spinal cord injury in 2014 and ended up in a wheelchair. We were looking for a solution to enable him to move independently on stairs and ramps, as the staircase at home had suddenly become an insurmountable obstacle for him. We built a first prototype based on the idea of an automatic brake and we wanted to help others with our innovation, too.

It is the only solution of its kind in the world that works automatically, hands-free when climbing in a wheelchair, automatically preventing unwanted rearward movement when moving forward as well as
reversing. The quality and functionality of our products have been validated in the laboratories of a German wheelchair manufacturer and an independent institute in Japan.
