Line of Duty star Tommy Jessop is back on the BBC tonight, with a brand new documentary that follows his journey pitching his own superhero film to Hollywood executives.
He is on a mission to show that people with Down’s syndrome can play heroes, and hoping his creation, “Roger the Superhero”, might be enough to persuade movie bosses to let him prove it on the big screen.
The documentary, Tommy Jessop Goes to Hollywood, also features Jessop’s brother, documentary filmmaker Will Jessop, and advice from the likes of Will Sharpe (The White Lotus) and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones).
