Teenage girl with Down’s Syndrome assaulted on a London Underground train – My London

A 16-year-old teenager with Down’s Syndrome and her friend were attacked on a North London train in a suspected hate crime. The victim, who was Jewish, and her friend were assaulted between Edgware and Colindale at 8.30pm on May 28.

The incident left both victims “traumatised”. In a Twitter statement, neighbourhood watch group Shomrim said: “On 28/05/23, a Jewish 16yr-old girl with Down Syndrome and her friend were attacked on a train between Edgware & Colindale at 20:30.
