Support group for parents of children with learning needs launches in Bromsgrove – Bromsgrove Advertiser

A NEW support and advice group for parents of children who have dyslexia is opening in Bromsgrove.

Hereford and Worcester Dyslexia Association (HWDA) will open its new workshop at the Wrendron Centre, Chaple Street, on Friday, May 11.

The group will give parents the chance to speak with senior tutors and other parents, obtain information, and share experiences.

Bromsgrove Parent Support group senior tutor Jane Hateley launched the group to provide “another avenue of support” from schools.

Senior tutor Linda Adey added: “Our HWDA colleagues run a very successful Parent Support Group in Worcester, and for some time we wanted to provide a similar service for parents in and around Bromsgrove.
