A special stand at Maidenhead’s Nicholson’s Centre next Wednesday will bring support and advice to people in Autism Awareness Week.
It is being run by Windsor and Maidenhead’s Autism Partnership Board and board member Caroline Hopton hopes the team running it will be able to offer practical help.
She said: “There may be people with children who they think may be autistic or who are awaiting a diagnosis.
“It can be isolating and people can find it hard to come forward and often don’t know where to go. We hope to be able to help.”
The stand will be there for one day on Wednesday from 9am to 5pm.
Autism Awareness Week runs from Monday until Sunday April 2.
