In case you’re not familiar with Bunnyfield (the sister company of Bunnyfoot), they match members of the public with paid market research sessions. The sessions are used to improve the products and services of their clients. Crucially, they do a lot of work with clients looking to improve the accessibility of their digital services.
They need users of assistive technologies (screen readers, magnification software etc.) to take part in their sessions to help improve the experience for those who can sometimes be disadvantaged by careless digital design.
A typical session is 60-90 minutes long and takes place either online or in-person (London or Sheffield). An hour-long session usually pays around £150 plus any travel expenses. The person taking part not only gets this money paid into their account following the session but also gets to help improve the product or service for other users of assistive technology.
They currently have many users signed up with them to take part in the research, but they are keen to open up the opportunity to as many people as possible. As well as the £150 mentioned above, everyone who applies to take part in a session (and who is not selected) gets entered into a prize draw for 4x £25 Amazon vouchers each month. Plus, for every person who takes part in a research session, they donate £1 to a nominated charity.
