Shocking photographs show accessibility design fails – Daily Mail

These shocking photos reveal the very worst wheelchair access ramps around the world.

The gallery, collated by BoredPanda, shows one with several steps leading to the disabled toilet, while another terrible design features a steep wooden climb – both useless to a wheelchair user.

Elsewhere, a picture showing two precarious narrow metal planks leading up to another floor were thought to have been setup in the Portuguese parliament.

A steep wooden hill was created next to a set of stairs for disabled people to use in this photograph, but it’s unlikely to prove useful for any wheelchair users. The location is unknown

This ramp proved useless as it was elevated too high above the steps for any wheelchair user to reach. It remains unclear as to where the photograph was taken

These stairs, in an undisclosed location, proved particularly tricky for one wheelchair user as they were simply covered with some metal sheets at high angles
