A BBC documentary which captured day-to-day life for Motor Neurone Disease Association patron Rob Burrow MBE has been shortlisted for a National Television Award (NTA).
Rob Burrow: Living with MND premiered on BBC2 in October 2022 and offered an unflinching insight into Rob’s life with motor neurone disease (MND), and the impact it has had his family and friends.
On the programme, cameras followed Rob as he took a trip to the swimming pool with wife, Lindsey and on a visit to his neurologist Dr Agam Jung. It also captured the realities of home life for the Burrow family and the support Lindsey provides to Rob as his carer.
