Use all your rehabilitation skills as you help visually impaired people live life to the full.
At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and businesses at the heart of everything we do, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. Committed to acting with openness, honesty, compassion and humility, we aim to listen and understand in a way that is respectful, encourages involvement and meets the needs of all our communities.
The Role:
In this important role, you’ll work with both individuals and family units as you provide a highly professional rehabilitation service to visually impaired people of all ages. You’ll help to develop their independent living skills, and in order to evaluate their suitability for a rehabilitation programme, undertake initial assessment visits for new referrals and review current service users. Contributing to joint decision making and promoting a range of accessible environments, you’ll also be responsible for co-ordinating and chairing network meetings.
