There’s little more special than the bond between brothers. But for Charlie and Jack Lilley, there is an even greater meaning to brotherly love.

Jack, 11, is the eyes and ears for his older brother, Charlie, whose life is ruled by autism hypermobility dyspraxia.

It means the 13-year-old has no safety awareness in situations such as crossing a road, because he sees , hears, and feels the world differently to other people.

“There are times when Charlie needs a bit of extra help,” said the boys mum, Alison Lilley.
