A Birmingham teen who battled serious speech, cognitive and physical difficulties after a brain injury is on a mission to raise awareness. Ky Porter suffered from two bleeds within his brain four years apart.
The 19-year-old has recorded a set of deeply personal rap songs that describe his recovery journey. He is set to release a rap video on Youtube behemoth Link Up TV.
During his recovery, Ky, from Kitts Green, was unable to see family due to Covid-19 restrictions. For him, it was music that has helped boost his confidence.
