Map shows Lyme disease cases recorded in the north west – Chester and District Standard

Lyme disease cases have been recorded across England and with a warning being issued in Dorset, it’s worth knowing what it is and where the hotspots are.

The map was made by Newsquest and uses ONS data.

In 2019, there were 85 Lyme disease cases recorded in the north west, a number which decreased in 2020 with 69 cases recorded.
