Cerebral palsy is a nervous system disorder that affects body movements due to brain injury. It’s a group of permanent movement disorders that appear in early childhood.
Signs and symptoms may vary among people and over time, but the most common symptoms are poor coordination, stiff muscles, weak muscles, and tremors. Meaning, any person with cerebral palsy cannot fully control motor function like walking. He or she may also have impairment of speech, balance, sight, and hearing.
