Local campaigners put pressure on Government to add motor neurone disease to ‘extremely vulnerable’ list – Oldham Chronicle

MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord.


Campaigners in Greater Manchester are calling on Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock to add motor neurone disease (MND) to the Government’s extremely vulnerable persons list to support them through the coronavirus pandemic.

Members of the Manchester and District Branch of the MND Association have written to Local MP’s urging them to raise this issue with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) as a matter of urgency.
