Ken Bruce’s 20-year-old autistic son Murray has never spoken a word, but has taken part in a ground-breaking new TV show in which he says he is desperate for the world to hear him. Murray, from Oxfordshire, appeared in the first episode of Chris Packham’s new BBC show ‘Inside Our Autistic Minds’, where the presenter helps those with autism to express their thoughts and feelings.
Chris was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism, in 2005, and since sharing his diagnosis, the naturalist and presenter has been flooded with emails and letters from others with autism, who may be frustrated that their friends, families and co-workers don’t understand them.
