Today it is even more important to keep your mental state in check during this period of lockdown due to the Coronavirus. Being housebound whether as part of the nations #StayAtHome or because you’re in #SelfIsolation can be extremely stressful and exercising is a good way increasing your overall health and your sense of well-being.
The Ability Today Team have been following Kris Saunders-Stove, founder of Wheely Good Fitness who is a wheelchair user himself and his workouts on You Tube, as a response to the current situation.
Our friends over at Superhero Series have been championing the efforts of Wheely Good Fitness to get the nation active with their great workout videos on twitter and facebook.
The main focus is wheelchair users however they aim to provide the same freedom, support and understanding to clients from others areas of the disabled community, enabling them to also enjoy the fun and health benefits of physical activity.
The workouts are approximately 30 mins and give easy instructions to carry out various excersises. Access is free on YouTube and the latest session is shown here.
