Charlie Bird has issued a heartbreaking but defiant health update as he continues to battle motor neurone disease (MND).
In a warm video he posted to his Twitter account, Charlie is joined on a sofa by his dog Tiger who is sitting on his lap.
Both are wearing blue t-shirts with ‘Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Service’ printed on the front.
The caption on the video reads: “I want to be honest, my MND is getting worse, I cannot walk any longer unless I have a walking stick.
