‘I have Parkinson’s but I’m determined to see the world by mobility scooter’ – Hull Live

An East Yorkshire man with Parkinson’s is determined to tick off the world destinations he has on his bucket list, while raising the profile of the charity that is supporting him with his condition.

John Hinson, 60, of North Ferriby, is travelling the globe by mobility scooter and has so far been to Chile and the Atacama Desert, Easter Island, South Africa, Russia, Iceland, India and Canada, among other destinations. Scroll down to see his pictures.

He recently returned from British Colombia from a trip that saw him and his wife, Jo, just metres away from grizzly bears feeding on salmon from a lake on Bear Island.
