I can’t walk but had to stand up for rights after my benefits cut – Metro Newspaper UK

A WHEELCHAIR user whose disability benefit was cut because she was deemed fit to walk has won her year-long battle to have her payments reinstated.

Donna Henshaw, who has spina bifida and has used her chair for a decade, said her muscles have weakened to the point she takes daily pills for the pain, can only stand with crutches and sometimes has to crawl round her flat.
