A recent study by the TUC which found disabled people are paid 15 per cent less than their fellow workers might come as a surprise to some, but the stark figures weren’t a shock to me. The disability pay gap seems to be a symptom of the many issues disabled people face when it comes to finding and staying in a job.

After graduating from university with a first-class honours degree in 2018, I quickly learned that entering the world of work can be a steep road to navigate if you’re disabled.
