A man has said a support group helped him through his darkest days after he had his leg amputated forcing cancer surgery.

He has urged others to open up and speak about limb loss, too.

Father of four Gary Wilson, 58, from Hull, Kingston Upon Hull, had already faced up to bowel cancer, before going to hospital to have the tumour removed.
