There are quite a few medical conditions that drivers must let the DVLA know about – otherwise risk a hefty fine.
As a motorist, if you have a condition that requires you to notify the agency and you don’t, you face the possibility of a £1,000 fine or even prosecution if an accident occurs.
The DVLA currently has a list of 118 health issues that should be checked – but having health problems doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll need to surrender your driving licence. But it may need to be handed over in certain situations, according to the Daily Record.
