You need adventurous taste buds in Elainea Emmott’s kitchen. The amateur cook recently won plaudits for the extraordinary dishes she created on Heston Blumenthal’s experimental cookery contest Crazy Delicious — think Masterchef with foraged ingredients and an edible set.
Her creations included twisted toffee apples with black pudding, spag bol reimagined with a liquorice and blackcurrant ragu, and mackerel stuffed with bitter chocolate. All very Heston!
