Dramatize celebrates World Down Syndrome Day 2020

Ability Today recently met with Jean Choules, Marketing Officer and Jo Smith, Co-Founder & Director of Dramatize, who provide a range of theatrical workshops to help further the personal development of each student that accesses our provisions. Dramatize aims for our workshops to provide the opportunity for theatre to be accessible to all!

Hearing some of the remarkable stories of how students have flourished and are now actually teaching their own workshops was definitely something Ability Today’s Roving Reporters would want to cover.  Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the vulnerability of both Dramatise students and our Roving Reporters we had to postpone our visit to their branch in Ashford.

With the UK on Lockdown and many in 12 week isolation we may not be able to meet the students and see the wonderful work the Dramatise Team are doing for quite some time.  In the meantime we will be featuring some of their work starting with this YouTube Video they produced for World Down Syndrome Day 2020.
