Don’t Want Our Cash – Campaign to highlight inequalities in venues

Samantha Renke – actress and disability campaigner has set up the ‘Don’t Want Our Cash’ campaign in order to highlight the inequalities in venues.  The aim of the campaign is to gather enough evidence to take to Parliament and change the reasonable adjustments policy so that there is no longer any ambiguity as to what constitutes as ‘reasonable’.After a distressing shopping experience Samantha embarked on educating others about small changes that can make a big difference to the disabled community.  With the Purple Pound having a total spending power of £249 billion she is trying to engage shoppers to take to the High Street, take photos to upload to ‘Don’t Want Our Cash’ Facebook & Twitter pages.  If you would like more information and how to get involved with the campaign please head over to Samantha’s website
