A disabled man who broke down barriers to get a job as a hospital catering assistant was struck down with coronavirus weeks later.
Daniel Davies – who has developmental coordination disorder, dyspraxia – had not long taken on the role at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd working on the Covid-19 wards before he contracted the disease himself.
But after the “worst weeks” of his life fighting the illness, the 27-year-old from Prestatyn has now returned to work because he feels it “gives him purpose.”
