Just five years ago, David Jevotovsky didn’t know if he’d be able to walk or talk again, let alone run the New York City Marathon and graduate from NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

 
David Jevotovsky isn’t the same as he was before his accident — but he miraculously feels like he’s back at “100%.”
Just five years ago, the 28-year-old, first-year medical resident didn’t know whether he’d be able to walk or talk again — let alone run the New York City Marathon and graduate from NYU Grossman School of Medicine — following a catastrophic, life-altering collision.
In the fall of 2017, Jevotovsky rode his bike from Kips Bay over to the scenic West Side Highway and down to Chelsea — without wearing a helmet — to meet classmates and study neurology.
