CMC holds competitions on theme of diabetes – The Hindu

A total of 150 school students took part in painting and essay competitions organised by the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism of Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, on Saturday.

The competitions were held as part of World Diabetes Day.

The painting competition was held on, ‘Urbanisation can worsen diabetes, how? How can you make the city more conducive in preventing diabetes?’

The students had to write an essay on ‘Diabetes mellitus is an expensive disease. How can you cut down the cost of treatment?’
