Celebrity MasterChef is back for a new series, with John Torode and Gregg Wallace putting famous faces through paces. Announced in the line-up is Adam Pearson, a British actor, presenter and campaigner who has featured in multiple films and documentaries.
Cast alongside Scarlett Johansson in the 2013 critically acclaimed science fiction film Under the Skin, he hoped the role would challenge disfigurement stigma. Alongside Adam’s film work, the graduate of the University for Brighton has been part of the production team for all five series of Channel 4 show The Undateables and various BBC programmes.
Adam has previously admitted to being bullied throughout his life for his appearance and suffers from a rare condition which sees tumours grow on his face.
