Blind veterans are now able to walk some of Scotland’s iconic mountains thanks to virtual reality headsets.
Sight Scotland Veterans created the programme to enable veterans of the armed forces with visual impairments the ability to climb their favourite mountains again.
The charity’s Hawkhead Centre in Paisley installed its first VR headset which is said to already to be having a positive impact on its users.
