‘Terri White: Finding Britain’s Ghost Children’ is a 5 Live podcast exploring how lockdown exposed cracks in the system designed to protect vulnerable children, three years after the UK’s schools closed at the height of the pandemic.

As part of the discussion around the series, 5 Live Drive spoke to many parents of children with special educational needs and autism who got in touch to share their experiences.

Caroline Walker is a primary head teacher from Barrow and features in the podcast.

She says the number of children with special educational needs has increased since the pandemic.
