‘A unique way of communicating’: Canadians with autism share challenges, debunk misconceptions about autism – CTV News

Around one in 66 Canadians are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, according to a 2018 report from the federal government. But autism spectrum disorder still remains poorly understood among Canadians who don’t have autism, and the autistic community continues to face challenges that stem from this lack of understanding.
