A nine-year-old boy with autism has already started spreading Christmas cheer with an incredibly heartwarming act.
Selfless William Harrison from Litherland was on a shopping trip in Liverpool City Centre with his Nanny Joan – and was upset by the number of homeless people he saw as well as their pets.
The generous little lad, who attends the English Martyrs Primary School in Litherland, decided he wanted to do something to help.
With his nanny, he asked local pizza shop Dough for some empty boxes – which they kindly donated for free.
His mum Kathy explained: “Over the next few days William and his Nanny Joan shopped for items which would be useful – socks, gloves, sweets, mints, tissues, hand gel and lip balms.
